It takes a village to keep our environment clean and healthy.
That's why we are dedicated to engaging the community in the Awach Tende Upper Catchment in Homa Bay, Kenya for continuous cleanup of the river.
Our program focuses on women's involvement in environmental conservation activities including the use of protective gear during the cleanup.
Apart from making the environment a better place to live in, the program boosts the water quality of the area, bringing numerous benefits including safe portable water used at home, which further has a effect in reducing the waterborne diseases that can be brought by unclean polluted water.
